  • The goal is to require 'Housing Providers' to act as a 'collection agency' for our city utilities.
  • Thus, if a renter doesn't pay for city utilities, the city files a lien against the property of the 'Housing Provider'.

      • These requests have been ignored and no one has been held accountable.

      • When requests were submitted for a five year levy by the library then our city officials and city council supported the levy without holding our library leaders accountable.

      • How are renters (who are not held accountable for paying their bills) similar to city leaders and library leaders (who refuse to be held accountable for managing public money in the public eye)?
    • Will our city officials and library leaders paticipate in a 'creative problem solving process' to develop a plan of action for the benefit of all members of our community?
  • How does a 'housing provider / collecton agent' avoid being victimized by:
    • Our city?
    • A renter who is unwilling or unable to pay his utilities?
