_ Cooperate_2_Solve problems -- via our process:
Assume we have the power to solve all of our mutual problems.
Capture problem statements in a cooperative manner.
Seek cooperation from all helpful people and useful tools and techniques.
PHASE 1: Study and state the plans for action:
- Capture on-going discussion -- as problems & solutions
- Get agreement on our unifying purpose statement
- Capture all statements keeping us from our purpose
- Help create alternative solution statements.
- During the planning phase the function of each member of the study team is to contribute statements and defer voicing judgment. Statements are not judged as good, bad, right or wrong. Statements are captured, clarified, and simply stated.
PHASE 2: Evaluate/act on the planning study -- from Phase 1:
- List the required action to solve problems
- Agree on assigned responsibilities
- Ask responsible people for an estimated due date.
- During the evaluation/action phase the function of each member is to make informed choices from a menu of alternative solution statements and recommend for project action. Repeat the above two phases until problem and solution statements are clear and rank ordered for action.
PHASE 3: Manage the project -- aligned with the plans from Phase 1 & 2:
- Assume we have the power to solve all of our mutual problems.
- Capture problem statements in a cooperative manner.
- Cooperate with all helpful people and useful tools and techniques.
